Indian batter Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sri Lankan bowler Asitha Fernando engaged in a physical confrontation involving head-butting on Day 1 of the second Test at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo.
The incident occurred in the 17th over after Fernando dismissed Jaiswal for 36 runs off 45 balls, following three consecutive boundaries hit by the Indian opener earlier in the same over.
