India’s senior living market projected to reach $10.1 billion by 2030

India's senior living market is expected to grow into a $10.1 billion opportunity by 2030, according to an ASLI-JLL report titled 'India’s Silver Economy: From Niche to Necessity'.

The addressable market of urban, financially independent senior households is projected to expand from 1.7 million in 2026 to 2.1 million by 2030, requiring $7.7 billion in capital investment.

The organised senior living sector reached 25,050 dwelling units as of June 2026, representing a penetration rate of just 1.5% and registering a 14.2% CAGR between 2024 and mid-2026.
