Preity Zinta Discusses Batwara 1947 Box Office Performance

Actor Preity Zinta expressed pride in the period drama Batwara 1947, which was released on August 14, 2026, despite its underwhelming performance at the box office.

The film, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starring Sunny Deol and Shabana Azmi, is based on Asghar Wajahat’s play Jis Lahore Nai Vekhya, O Jamya E Nai.

Zinta stated that she remains focused on her personal effort and professional commitment, noting that an actor can only control their performance rather than the final commercial reception.
