Delhi High Court Shifts Court Proceedings Online Amid Jantar Mantar Protest

Ahead of a Jantar Mantar protest called by the Cockroach Janata Party demanding the CEC's resignation, the Delhi High Court ordered the Patiala House and Rouse Avenue complexes to function virtually on Saturday.

According to a notification by Registrar General Reetesh Singh, all other Delhi district courts will remain open with undertrial prisoners produced exclusively through virtual hearings.

The high court directed that no adverse orders shall be passed across district courts due to the non-appearance of litigants, advocates, witnesses, or accused persons.
