The Bethel Park School District has delayed the start of the upcoming academic year by two days, with the first day of classes now set for Thursday, September 3.
The extension provides staff additional time to finalize safety procedures and orientation routines at the new Bethel Park Elementary School, which will house K-5 students.
To maintain instructional time, the district converted March 8, 2027, from an inservice day to a regular instructional day, ensuring no impact on the scheduled end of the school year.
