Pilot recalls cockpit stabbing incident on Israel-bound flydubai flight

Captain Smit Machchhar saved a flight carrying over 170 passengers after being stabbed by his co-pilot, who then attempted to crash the aircraft.

The plane descended over 17,000 feet before reserve pilots took control and landed safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, following the intervention of passengers and crew.

Investigations are underway in the UAE to determine if the attacker, identified by Benjamin Netanyahu as an Omani national, had links to radical indoctrination.
