A report by SABAR Institute and Constitutional Guardians Forum revealed that peripheral areas of Hyderabad witnessed disproportionately high voter anomaly notice rates during the Special Intensive Revision.
Quthbullapur recorded the highest anomaly notice rate at 66.6%, compared to a state median of 28.7%, whereas Nampally recorded the lowest rate in Hyderabad district at 23.3%.
The largest share of notices was attributed to matching failures against previous electoral rolls, while Muslim names constituted 50.5% of notices citing six or more children.
