A gunman opened fire in a busy market square in Krakow, Poland, on November 7, 2026, killing five people and injuring more than a dozen others.
The perpetrator, a Polish man with far-right views who drove into the city's Main Square targeting random people, was shot and wounded during a police confrontation.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that police are investigating the attack, which also followed the discovery of three bodies in the mass-shooting suspect's home.
