CBSE clarifies 2028 Class 10 exam structure and subjects

The CBSE clarified that its 2028 Class 10 board exams will feature five compulsory subjects alongside an optional skill paper safety net.

Students can use the additional skill paper to clear the examination even if they fail in mathematics, science, or social science.

The guidelines apply specifically to students studying in Class 9 during the 2026-27 academic year.
