Vedanta Declares ₹5 Interim Dividend Following Corporate Demerger Restructuring

Vedanta announced a 500 percent first interim dividend of ₹5 per equity share amounting to ₹1,955 crore for the 2026-27 financial year.

The lower payout compared to last year's ₹34 dividend stems from the company's corporate demerger executed in June 2026.

Analysts noted that the residual entity now houses specific assets like Hindustan Zinc, altering consolidated cash flows and dividend dynamics.
