Kerala to probe allegations of expired Remdesivir for Nipah

Kerala Health Minister K. Muraleedharan stated that action will follow an expert committee report on allegations regarding expired Remdesivir usage.

An inquiry is underway to determine if expired 2021-procured Remdesivir doses were administered to Nipah patients at Kozhikode Medical College.

Critical care specialist Dr A S Anoop Kumar maintained that patients who died from Nipah were not administered Remdesivir.
