U.S. stocks fell on Monday as rising Treasury yields and higher oil prices pressured investors, with the Dow falling 360 points, the S&P 500 down 0.49%, and the Nasdaq dropping 0.50%.
The benchmark 10-year Treasury yield climbed over 3 basis points to 5.219%, while Brent crude futures for November delivery traded at $108.27 a barrel following stalled U.S.-Iran talks.
Investors are awaiting key U.S. economic data this week, including the August JOLTS report, the PCE price index, second-quarter GDP estimates, and September jobs figures.
