Dancer Val Chmerkovskiy was suspended from 'Dancing with the Stars' for one week following an inappropriate TikTok post referencing Will Smith's 2022 Oscar slap.
Producer BBC Studios stated that the post did not reflect the show's values and standards, resulting in his exclusion from next week's episode.
The controversy followed judge Carrie Ann Inaba's criticism of a lift performance by Chmerkovskiy's wife, Jenna Johnson, during the show's 'Super Bowl Night'.
