Actor and former wrestler Saurav Gurjar was arrested at Mumbai airport and remanded to 14 days in judicial custody by a Hyderabad magistrate.
A 29-year-old woman filed a police complaint on August 15 accusing him of sexual exploitation under false promises of marriage.
The allegations remain under investigation by Gachibowli police and have not yet been established in court.
