Sunil Narine delivered a match-winning spell of 3/7 from four overs, restricting the Patriots to a total of 109/9 before rain interrupted the match during the Knight Riders' chase.

The Knight Riders were 94/2 after 15 overs when the game was called off, with Matthew Breetzke remaining unbeaten on 35 and Joshua Da Silva contributing 18 runs to the total.
