The meeting, hosted by India, also focused on enhancing preparedness and coordination for natural disasters in the Bay of Bengal region.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and called for a region-wide approach to combat drug smuggling.
