Dhanush announced that his upcoming film OM will not release on its original October 16, 2026 date out of respect for Rajinikanth's film arriving on October 15.
The actor also stated that the action-thriller will skip a Diwali release this year to avoid overlapping with Suriya's previously announced film.
OM is directed by Rajkumar Perisamy and stars Dhanush, Mammootty, Sai Pallavi, and Sreeleela, with a new release date to be announced soon.
