Ajay Devgn-starrer Drishyam 3 opened in theatres on Friday and collected ₹66.75 crore net in India on Day 1, marking the biggest opening of the actor's career.
The film recorded an estimated worldwide gross of ₹95.10 crore on its opening day, receiving praise from both Hindi-speaking audiences and Malayalam viewers.
Unlike the first two instalments, Drishyam 3 features an original story and ending developed independently with Mohanlal's approval rather than being a direct Malayalam remake.
