Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has been removed from Punjab's draft electoral rolls, with his status officially recorded as 'permanently shifted' by the Election Commission.
Chadha is among 20.66 lakh voters, representing 9.7 per cent of the state's pre-SIR electorate, whose names were deleted from the draft list published on August 13.
The MP has alleged political vendetta by the AAP government, though he remains eligible to serve as an MP; final electoral rolls are scheduled for publication in October 2026.
