CERT-In Issues Alert on 'Crafty Falcon' AI-Driven Fintech Hacking Campaign

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team warned that an AI-powered hacking group, 'Crafty Falcon,' is actively targeting Indian fintech firms and payment aggregators.

Attackers are using autonomous tools like ARTEX and PentAGI to scan vulnerabilities and exploit APIs in testing environments to perform unauthorized financial transactions.

Authorities advised all banking and financial institutions to treat the threat as ongoing and to patch remaining security flaws immediately to prevent further exploitation.
