Paris Investigates Eiffel Tower Staff Protest Over Religious Visit Protocol

The Eiffel Tower remained closed on Monday after staff protested instructions to sideline female employees during a visit by a BAPS Hindu delegation.

Management company SETE acknowledged that the delegation requested limited interaction with women, a condition the company admitted was unacceptable and against its values.

Paris authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, while the BAPS group issued an apology for any hurt or inconvenience caused by the visit.
