India cuts windfall taxes on export of petrol, diesel and ATF

The Indian government lowered windfall taxes on the export of petrol, diesel, and aviation turbine fuel with immediate effect from Wednesday.

The duty on diesel exports was reduced to ₹20 per litre from ₹25, while the levy on petrol exports was cut to ₹0.5 per litre from ₹1.5.

Additionally, the export tax on aviation turbine fuel was lowered to ₹15 per litre from ₹19 previously.
