Defence Minister Rajnath Singh presided over a ceremony marking the handover of indigenously manufactured aircraft and helicopters by HAL to the Indian Air Force and Pawan Hans Limited.
The deliveries included Dhruv-NG helicopters for PHL, LCA FOC Trainer aircraft completing Twin Seater orders for the IAF, and the first series production HTT-40 Basic Trainer aircraft.
Singh challenged the country's scientific and engineering community to pioneer cutting-edge technologies to position India as a global leader in aerospace.
