The FBI extradited most-wanted fraudster Manjeet Singh Bedi from India, returning him to the United States on Wednesday night after his arrest in India last month.
Bedi is charged with defrauding the U.S. government of at least $600,000 in SNAP funds between 2024 and 2025 by illegally selling food using EBT cards at his Tacoma grocery store.
Bedi is scheduled to appear before the Western District Court of Washington state, where prosecutors will request his detention pending trial due to his previous flight.
