Saitual has become the first district in Mizoram to achieve 'Surakshit' status under the National AIDS Control Organization's (NACO) HIV prevention campaign.
The achievement follows intensive community outreach and improved access to testing and treatment services across the district's rural and urban areas.
Health officials aim to replicate this model in other districts to curb the spread of HIV and improve overall public health outcomes in the state.
