Four workers died on Thursday afternoon after a pressure vessel exploded at Kovika Dyes and Intermediates in Chhatral GIDC, Gandhinagar.
The victims were fitting a pipe to a hot chemical-containing vessel when excess pressure likely caused the blast, according to preliminary findings.
Police and forensic teams are investigating whether the incident resulted from mechanical failure, a chemical reaction, or a breach of safety protocols.
