Debut writer-director Shubham Shevade's Marathi indie feature film 'Magazine' quietly released in theatres on October 23.
The film tells the coming-of-age story of an urban teenager from Pune who undergoes a transformation after visiting his ancestral village of Dattawad in Maharashtra.
Shevade drew inspiration from his own life and photography during visits to the village to create a visually driven narrative featuring choppy editing and nostalgic montages.
