Delhi traders' body seeks ban on rallies and protests until Bhaiya Dooj

The Chamber of Trade and Industry wrote to the Delhi Police Commissioner demanding a ban on rallies and protests in the capital until November 11.

The traders' body cited significant financial losses to businesses from frequent demonstrations, traffic disruptions, and a major rally at Ramlila Maidan.

The CTI estimated overall business losses of approximately ₹14,000 crore in Delhi between October 1 and November 1.
