The Indian women's table tennis team was eliminated in the Asian Games quarterfinals following a 3-0 sweep by North Korea on Tuesday.
Without top player Manika Batra, the squad fell short after Kim Kum Yong defeated Sreeja Akula 3-0, alongside losses by Yashaswini Ghorpade and Diya Chitale.
Earlier in the tournament, India overcame group-stage deficits against Singapore and Thailand to advance past the Round of 16.
