Three Dead and Eight Injured in Philippines High School Shooting

Three people died and eight others were wounded in a shooting at Banga National High School in Mindanao, southern Philippines, on Friday afternoon.

Banga mayor Albert Palencia stated that two victims were 14-year-old students and the 16-year-old gunman died after shooting himself, while four of the injured are in critical condition.

Municipal disaster management authorities suspended classes at all levels across Banga following the incident, marking the third deadly school shooting in the country since June.
