School Bus Crash in Eastern France Leaves Two Dead and 16 Injured

An intercity bus carrying children and teenagers to school crashed in eastern France near the town of Lent, resulting in the deaths of one minor and one young adult.

The Prefecture in the Ain region reported that 16 people were injured in the accident, including three who sustained serious injuries.

Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot and Education Minister Edouard Geffray expressed condolences to the affected families as emergency services and law enforcement deployed to the accident site.
