Google has agreed to report child sexual abuse material (CSAM) directly to the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C).
The decision marks a departure from Google's global practice of routing such reports through the US-based National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
The shift follows discussions with Indian authorities to eliminate delays in local law enforcement response times for child safety cases.
