Pakistan Conducts Airstrikes in Afghanistan Following Drone Incursion

Pakistan conducted precision aerial and drone strikes across ten locations in Afghanistan on Thursday in response to a drone intrusion from across the border a day earlier.

Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated that the strikes were strictly limited to identified military objectives directly linked to attempted attacks against Pakistan.

The action follows the interception of eight drones entering Pakistani airspace and an attack in Kohat, prompting Pakistan to warn of further resolute responses to sovereignty violations.
