Jharkhand Government Cancels JSSC-CGL Exams Following Student Protests

The Jharkhand government cancelled the JSSC-CGL examination and all other recruitment tests conducted by the private firm TDPL following a 24-day protest by job aspirants.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren directed the CID to probe all recruitment examinations held in the state since 2014, following the arrest of 21 individuals, including a former JPSC chairman.

A committee led by senior IAS officer Amitabh Kaushal will be established to suggest structural reforms and corrective measures for the state's recruitment examination process.
