Excel Entertainment Launches 'Excel Origins' Initiative

Co-founders Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar announced 'Excel Origins' to mark the company's 25th anniversary in the Hindi film industry.

The initiative aims to discover and support filmmakers under the age of 30 by helping them develop original stories and providing creative opportunities.

The company, which debuted with the 2001 film 'Dil Chahta Hai', intends to focus on backing fresh voices and bold ideas for the next 25 years.
