Kamal Haasan's production house announced his next film titled Sandiyar, directed by SU Arun Kumar, with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
The film's first look poster features Haasan looking intently into the camera with grey hair, a beard, and a gun in hand.
The project revives a title originally intended for his 2004 film Virumaandi, which previously faced objections and political protests over its title.
