Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri launched National PNG Drive 3.0, scheduled to run until the end of fiscal year 2027.

The initiative targets 50 lakh new domestic PNG connections, conversion of 40 lakh existing connections into active consumers, and 50 lakh new registrations.

The third phase aims to improve utilisation of existing city-gas infrastructure across approximately 6.9 lakh inch-km of pipeline network.
