Jos Buttler Undergoes Surgery on Left Hamstring Injury

Former England white-ball captain Jos Buttler underwent surgery on his left hamstring after sustaining the injury while batting against Sri Lanka on September 24.

Buttler has been ruled out of England's upcoming tri-series in Pakistan and is likely to miss the white-ball tour of Australia in November.

Despite the injury setback, Buttler was awarded a one-year contract extension by the England and Wales Cricket Board alongside Adil Rashid on Monday.
