Rajasthan Police Officer Arrested in ₹2 Crore Land Scam Bribe Case

Mukesh Kumar Soni, an Additional Superintendent of Police with Rajasthan's SOG, was arrested by the Anti Corruption Bureau on Sunday for allegedly demanding a Rs 2 crore bribe.

The bribe was sought through middleman Sajjan Singh Jain to clear a suspect's name, return documents, and close an ongoing probe linked to the Udaipur Municipal Corporation land scam.

The ACB caught the middleman red-handed accepting the Rs 2 crore on Saturday, recovering Rs 4 lakh in Indian currency and booking the accused under corruption and conspiracy laws.
