Himachal Pradesh's Higher Education Department signed an MoU with BOAT-Northern Region Kanpur to implement Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programmes in 16 colleges for 2026-27.
The initiative offers industry-oriented BCom courses in BFSI, retail operations, and logistics, combining academic learning with a mandatory six-month paid apprenticeship.
Enrolling 685 students in its first phase, Himachal Pradesh became the third state in India after Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan to adopt AEDPs.
