The Afghanistan Cricket Board confirmed a three-match T20I series against India to be held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on September 13, 15, and 17, 2026.

BCCI president Mithun Manhas officially confirmed the series on August 12, 2026, noting that the matches will complete the bilateral engagement across all three formats.
