ABB India MD Says Automation Has Boosted Workforce and Low-Skilled Hiring

ABB India CEO Sanjeev Sharma stated that factory automation has enabled the company to expand its workforce and employ lower-skilled workers quickly.

ABB India committed to investing $75 million across 2026 and 2027 to drive organic expansion with a focus on Tier-II and Tier-III cities.

The company's employment in India grew by 57% from about 7,000 workers in 2021 to more than 11,000 in 2026.
