Neeraj Chopra Secures Silver at Commonwealth Games Javelin Final

Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal in the men's javelin throw at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow with a season-best distance of 85.83m.

Sri Lanka's Rumesh Tharanga Pathirage claimed gold with a 89.75m throw, while India's Yash Vir Singh secured bronze with a personal best effort of 85.41m in his final attempt.

Defending champion Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan finished ninth with a throw of 77.41m, failing to qualify for the top eight in the final held at Scotstoun Stadium.
