Assam Chief Minister Announces Recruitment Exams for Over 5,700 Posts

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that recruitment examinations will be held on February 1, 2027.

The examinations aim to fill 5,734 vacancies across six government departments in the state.

Assam Police holds the highest number of openings with 2,236 posts, followed by the Forest Department with 1,307 vacancies.
