Fairphone Launches Modular Gen 6+ Smartphone in the US Market

Fairphone launched its modular Gen 6+ smartphone in the U.S. market on Tuesday, with a starting price of $649 and support for T-Mobile and AT&T networks.

The device features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, 12GB of RAM, and a 4,415 mAh battery, with a design allowing users to replace 12 components using a single screwdriver.

The company offers a five-year warranty and software support until 2033, emphasizing sustainability with a manufacturing carbon footprint of 30 kg of CO2e per unit.
