NSA Ajit Doval and Chinese Officials Discuss Border Stability in Beijing

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing on August 25, 2026, to discuss reinforcing peace and tranquility along the border.

The 25th round of talks between Special Representatives included detailed small group discussions lasting over 90 minutes and a formal meeting with Chinese Vice-President Han Zheng.

Mr. Doval stated that India-China relations are steadily returning to normalcy, with both sides preparing for the upcoming BRICS Summit scheduled for September 12 in New Delhi.
