NIA Arrests UAE-Based Babbar Khalsa Handler in VHP Leader Murder Case

The National Investigation Agency arrested Harwinder Kumar alias Sonu upon his arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi after his deportation from the UAE.

Kumar was declared wanted by the NIA for allegedly providing logistical support and financing in the May 2024 killing of VHP leader Vikas Prabhakar in Nangal, Punjab.

The NIA produced Kumar before a Special NIA Court as part of its ongoing probe into the targeted killing by Babbar Khalsa International operatives.
