
Veteran Indian batter Ajinkya Rahane has announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket, ending a career that spanned 85 Test matches.
Rahane scored 5,077 Test runs at an average of 38.46, including 12 centuries, with eight of those hundreds achieved in overseas conditions.
He is best remembered for captaining India to a historic Border-Gavaskar Trophy series victory in Australia during the 2020-21 season.
