The Aligarh District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum ordered Ola Electric and its service centre to replace a defective scooter or refund ₹1,02,505.

The vehicle purchase price is to be refunded with 10% annual interest after proofs showed it developed defects immediately after purchase on January 31, 2024.

The consumer court also directed the company to pay ₹10,000 for mental harassment and ₹5,000 toward litigation expenses.
