APSPDCL Chairman Siva Sankar Lotheti announced that measures are being taken to restore power supply on a war footing during heavy rains caused by Cyclone Murasu.
Authorities mobilised 226 special teams comprising 2,403 officers and staff alongside 10 teams from Tamil Nadu to supervise restoration in Nellore and Tirupati districts.
The public was urged to report power supply interruptions, snapped lines, or damaged transformers using dedicated district helpline numbers.
